Welcome to Advanced Diagnostic Radiology
Jong K. Kim, MD
Dr. Jong K. Kim, president and co-founder of ADR, graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a B.A. in Chemistry in 1984. While at college, he spent a year abroad in Bordeaux, France studying French civilization and Art History.
Dr. Kim studied medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker school of medicine and studied business administration at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (Booth), graduating with a joint MD/MBA degree in 1989.
After completion of his medical internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Kim completed his radiology residency program at the University of California San Diego from 1990-1994. He has been board certified in diagnostic radiology since 1994.

Since his arrival in Cumberland in 1994, Dr. Kim has served the patients of the greater Tri-State region including Allegany County as well as many surrounding counties of West Virginia including:
Currently, in addition to ADR, he continues to provide radiology services at Grant Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kim provides imaging services in all modalities with special emphasis on cardiac, musculoskeletal and women’s imaging.

Myung-Sup Kim, MD
Founder of Summit Radiology over 20 years ago, brought to the Tri-State area cutting edge clinical expertise in the field of Interventional Radiology. He was the first Interventional Radiologist in the area to perform various interventional radiology procedures, such as PTA (percutaneous transluminal angioplasty), intravascular stents, and the minimally invasive repair of abdominal aneurysms (percutaneous aortic stent grafting). He graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Southwestern Union College, Keene, Texas in 1974 with a BA in Chemistry. Dr. M.S.Kim attended the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas from 1974-1978 where he received his medical degree. Dr. M.S. Kim did his radiology residency from July 1978 to June 1982 at The West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia, where he specialized in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. In 1983 Dr.

Kim received his American Board of Radiology with Special Competency in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. M.S. Kim also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at WVU. Dr. M.S. Kim specializes in Interventional Radiology procedures which include Endovascular Laser Therapy, Percutaneous Biopsies and Vertebroplasty.
